What Comes After Love tells the story of a man named Joon Go from Japan and a woman named Choi Hong from South Korea. When Choi Hong studied in Japan, she had a love story with Joon Go. However, their relationship ended when Choi Hong had to return to South Korea. Five years later, Joon Go was required to go to South Korea to promote his new book. While in Korea, Joon Go meets Choi Hong again.
